3 year old female Chihuahua/Jack Russell Terrier mix, only 15 lbs. Rescued from Puerto Rico, currently in foster care in NYC. Her rescuer says, "Ivy is outgoing, fun, waggy, happy, calm, thoughtful, smart, loving, affectionate, and sooooo sweet. She is really an amazing dog. Her jaw was broken at some point in her life. It fully healed a little crooked, and she is perfectly fine. She should never have a problem with it. It just looks funny and adds to her uniqueness." - Animal Lighthouse Rescue
9 month old female hound mix, under 30 lbs, spayed. Rescued from Puerto Rico, currently in foster care in NYC. Her rescuer says, "While slightly timid at first, Luna warms up quickly and becomes your best friend in no time. Luna loves to cuddle and give kisses. There is seriously not a mean bone in her body. She is loving, affectionate, sweet, thoughtful, and fun. Luna is great with all people, dogs, and even cats. She absolutely loves kids, as long as they are gentle." - Animal Lighthouse Rescue
5 year old male Tibetan Terrier mix. Arrived from ACC shelter with a fractured leg, and is now healed and ready to go! His foster mom says, "He's an amazingly sweet, smart and friendly little dude and cute to boot. Very energetic but also happy to quiet down and snuggle on the couch with you. He reminds me of a baby sloth."
- Animal Haven
4 year old female Chihuahua, 6 lbs. "She knows sit, heel, stay, and down. She walks nicely on her leash and is even pretty good off leash. She loves to please and when taken to her foster mom's job, she runs to say hi to everyone. She is playful but does not need much exercise. She is quite content to sit in your lap or curl up in her bed and relax. She also is not much of a barker but when she does (rarely) it's a pipsqueak of a bark. She's not quite guard dog material!" - Animal Lighthouse Rescue
